WHAT IT DOES
What does it do?
Typebase lets you write a backend in TypeScript inside an existing app's typebase folder. Its CLI handles code generation, schema updates, and deployment, and type-checks every export end to end. It supports deployment to Vercel, Cloudflare Workers, Deno Deploy, and Neon Postgres, while generated server code can also be hosted elsewhere.

EDITOR'S NOTE
Why did it stand out?
It defines the backend in the app's typebase folder. By tying permission checks to code and type checking, it aims to expose how column changes affect authorization scope.
