PDF to MD
Convert PDFs to Markdown in your browser, with optional OCR for scanned documents
What does it do?
PDFs containing regular text, along with Word and HTML files, can be processed locally in the browser. Users can review and edit the converted Markdown, then copy it or download it as a file. They can also bundle multiple results into a ZIP file. Cloud OCR is available for scans, image-heavy PDFs, and cases where local extraction struggles with complex tables or formulas. The site presents workflows for Obsidian and Notion notes and describes API and remote MCP access for automation.
