openarcanum
An account-free messenger with separate community servers and encrypted communication.
What does it do?
Users can start by opening the site in a browser or downloading the desktop app for Linux, Windows, or macOS. The app signs in with a key generated on the computer, and each community runs its own server. Operators can create invitations for new members and manage conversations with roles, permissions, and moderation tools. Private messages are end-to-end encrypted, and voice and video calls and screen sharing are also available. Browser use requires neither installation nor account creation.
