kube32
A Kubernetes-compatible environment for running WebAssembly pods on ESP32-S3 boards.
What does it do?
After installing the same firmware on each board, use a board with PSRAM as the control plane and the others as workers. Point kubectl at the control plane and apply a manifest to run WebAssembly modules as pods through the wasm3 interpreter. On macOS and Linux, a host simulator lets you try a two-node setup first. The repository also includes an example issue tracker made up of multiple pods.
Key features
- Manage a board cluster with kubectl and k9s
- Connect boards over Wi-Fi or USB serial
- Run WebAssembly pods with wasm3
- Test the setup in a macOS or Linux host simulator
- Build and flash board firmware with PlatformIO
