WHAT IT DOES
What does it do?
The BlackGit client uses partial clone and sparse-checkout to bring only user-specified files into the working tree. The server acts as a smart-HTTP cache and access-control layer in front of an existing Git server, refusing to serve blobs from unauthorized paths. The client can also communicate with standard Git smart-HTTP remotes without a BlackGit server.
