WHAT IT DOES
What does it do?
트랙패드가드 is a macOS menu bar app that blocks trackpad pointer movement, clicks, and scrolling while the keyboard is in use. It can unlock automatically 1 second after the last keystroke or immediately when the user touches a physical unlock area defined by 4 editable points. It says it does not start locking if it cannot read multitouch coordinates and does not store or transmit typed content or touch coordinates.
KEY FEATURES
Key features
- Block pointer movement, clicks, and scrolling while typing
- Unlock automatically 1 second after the last keystroke
- Unlock immediately when a 4-point unlock area is touched
- Avoid starting the lock if multitouch coordinates cannot be read
- Do not store or transmit typed content or touch coordinates
EDITOR'S NOTE
Why did it stand out?
Its simple rule locks the trackpad during typing and unlocks it 1 second after typing stops, addressing accidental input without a separate action. The condition that prevents locking when coordinates cannot be read also fits the usage flow.
