WHAT IT DOES
What does it do?
TerrainSR is a model trained to generate terrain detail at a 10m level from elevation data spaced 100m apart. Built-up areas and artificially altered terrain were excluded from training to reduce related traces in the output. Its Python code and model weights can be downloaded and run, including on a CPU.
KEY FEATURES
Key features
- Generate detailed terrain elevations from low-resolution elevation data
- Input an elevation array at 100m intervals and a water mask at 10m intervals
- Save generated results as an elevation array
- Run inference on a CPU or NVIDIA GPU
