WHAT IT DOES
What does it do?
Markdown Gatekeeper is a local-first authority layer that prevents a document from becoming current merely because an agent declares it authoritative. mdg init discovers and reviews documents, publishes topics with high confidence, and leaves ambiguous items unresolved. Existing unmanaged AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md files remain exactly as written until a decision is resolved.
