WHAT IT DOES
What does it do?
beckon connects to Claude Code lifecycle hooks and plays different sounds based on the agent’s status. It can use a different pitch for each project to distinguish concurrent tasks, and its binary includes 3 default sound packs. In SSH environments, it switches to the terminal bell and OSC 9 notifications. If no sound plays, a diagnostic command can help identify the cause.
